My name is Pálmi Hilmarsson and I was born and raised here at Laugarvatn.  After a few years in Reykjavík, I moved back here to Laugarvatn with my wife, Erla Þorsteinsdóttir in the autumn of 1990. I work as a property manager at Menntaskólinn að Laugarvatn and in connection with that I have been very interested in the history of Laugarvatn and the public buildings here.
